SUMMARY:Chakra Workshop w/ Elias
DESCRIPTION:\n\nIn this introductory workshop, expect the opportunity to explore and be curious about the origins of our knowledge of the chakra system. The word ‘chakra’ in Sanskrit loosely translates to ‘wheel’ and chakras in the body are points of intersection between multiple channels of energy. When a person is healthy and in balance, energy is free to flow throughout the chakra system and the person likely feels well and in harmony with themselves. When there is an imbalance in a person’s chakra system, they can become ill or unwell and that can result in dis-ease, or as we call it, disease.\nTogether we will explore the seven main chakras in the body through conversation, movement, and embodiment, with the intention to consider how this knowledge can help us to cultivate awareness and wellness in our everyday lives. A handout will be provided with an overview of what we are learning. Bringing a journal is suggested. There will be time for reflection and sharing as a group.\n\n\n
