Half-day Base Camp

Ages 5-8 | $160 Non-members | $145 members
Monday-Friday | 8am-12pm & 1pm-5pm

If your kiddos are between ages 5-8, bouncing off the walls, and are too young for Base Camp… come try our Half-Day Camps! Throughout their session, our staff will spend time encouraging the kids to challenge themselves to reach new heights through a variety of games, activities, and of course, lots of climbing! It’s a great option if you are looking to bring home a tired child that is ready for food and a nap. Your child will be learning about the basics in climbing terminology and skills. We hope to see your half-ling at our Half-Day Base Camp! No experience is needed to enjoy this camp.

What to expect:
At 9:00 am sharp, we’ll begin by explaining the Half-Day Camp experience and showing the campers around the gym to get them comfortable with Adventure Rock’s climbing areas. During this camp your climber will be learning basic terminology and skills. When the climbers are tired, we will play a game or two.

What to bring:
Rock climbing does not require any specific clothing – your child should just come dressed in clothes that are comfortable and easy to move around in. We provide all the gear needed to have a great Camp experience. Camp will provide a mid-camp snack. We recommend that campers bring a water bottle and extra snacks as climbing can be a strenuous workout. Bottles of water, energy drinks and bars are also available for purchase in the Adventure Rock Pro Shop.

Finally, we ask that campers leave all electronics and toys at home! We promise they won’t be missed – time will fly by with all of the fun activities we have planned at Camp!

If you have any additional questions, feel free to call us at 262-790-6800.
