Take the next step after Climbing 101 and learn advanced movements and tactics to take your climbing to the next level. In this 4-week class, you’ll learn lead climbing, advanced techniques and climbing tactics, and train for your next big adventure with fitness instruction.
Additional Climbing Techniques you’ll learn:
• Lead Climbing: Belaying techniques, clipping quickdraws, setting anchors, falling from the wall, partner communication
• Advanced Movement: Body tension in relation to body position, bouldering technique
• Tactics: Terrain evaluation, precision climbing, reading routes & identifying crux
• Training for Climbing: fitness and endurance training, periods of stress vs rest, breathing techniques
