Overview
Welcome to the 2025 - 2026 Season!
The Wisconsin High School Climbing League (WHSCL) is a program dedicated to high school students and catered to climbers of all ability levels. Our High School climbing program currently accommodates over 500 students, from 40 different high schools, and continues to grow steadily each year! A climbing team is a MUST at every high school!
All memberships include: Belay & knot training, technique & movement training, bouldering training, practices, yoga, 10% off in our pro shop, & more!
What to Expect
- Weekly two-hour team practice – membership or day pass to local gym required
- Monthly Top Rope and Bouldering competitions, with categories & awards for all ability levels – $10/competition
- Monthly themed High School Hangouts – FREE
- Instruction in knot tying, belaying, & basic climbing technique – FREE
- Clinics offered at an additional cost to students interested in learning more advanced climbing techniques
Mission
The WHSCL provides a fun and welcoming environment, encourages an active lifestyle, builds social bonds, and promotes a love for the sport of rock climbing to high school students across the state of Wisconsin through competitions and weekly practices.

If your team practice at Adventure Rock, select your team’s practice location below to sign up for your team’s practice, sign the WHSCL Code of Conduct, and pay your $25 league fee.
If your team practices at Odyssey Climbing + Fitness, Climb @ the Loop, Greater Heights, Fond du Lac, New London, or anywhere else outside of Adventure Rock, select the option below to sign the WHSCL Code of Conduct and pay your $25 league fee.

Competition Fee $10/competition
Price per competitor per competition for all qualifying competitions. Membership or Day Pass to host gym required in addition to competition fee.

State Finals $50/competitor
Price per competitor. Students must compete in two competitions to qualify for State Finals.

Adventure Rock Membership $70/month
Monthly fee for unlimited climbing, yoga, and fitness to all three of our locations. $25 initiation fee.
